Tarantula Island Adventure
Lodge Lobby
Join a park interpreter to experience the wild, rugged beauty of the Ouachita Mountains and the clean, clear water of DeGray Lake. On this exciting expedition to "Tarantula Island" we will put boots on the ground in search of these fuzzy, eight-legged wonders as we make our way towards the island's summit. At the top, we will enjoy some of the best views DeGray Lake has to offer. Space is limited; reservations may be made beginning noon the day before at the lodge front desk, (501) 865-5851. Please wear sturdy shoes for hiking and appropriate clothing for the season - it is normally cooler and windier out on the lake. Be prepared for uneven terrain and a moderate slope. A minimum of 6 passengers must be registered one hour prior to departure.

Admission: $10 adults, $6 children ages 6-12, under 6 free
