Lake DeGray State Park Things to Do

DeGray Lake Resort State Park is proud to offer a variety of programs and activities throughout the year for the entertainment and education of our guests. Programs are offered daily between Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend as well as regular weekends during the spring and fall. In addition, special programs may be offered during holiday weekends and special events such as the annual Eagles Et Cetera weekend held each January.

Regular programs by park interpreters include guided lake cruises, kayak tours, snorkeling excursions, trail hikes, wildlife demonstrations, nature games, arts & crafts workshops, nocturnal wildlife safaris, owl prowls, square dances and more. A variety of indoor and outdoor venues are used throughout the park including the sand volleyball court on the lodge island or the basketball and tennis courts located near the marina. The amphitheater, grand lobby of the lodge, marina and golf course have all served as popular locations for interpretive programs. Most events are free of charge to park guests and the public. A few select programs have a nominal fee.

DeGray Lake Resort State Park has several Geocaches within the park boundaries for those who participate in, or are interested in learning about, this global high-tech treasure hunt.
